SN-Media history:
SN-Media was founded in 2003 by a few young software developer. At the beginning SN-Media was only supposed to be a second pillar for them, next to their “real” jobs or study. They found together to be able to work freelance as developers, and by this creating a sensible basis for this proposition. They have specialized in company management systems specially adapted to the needs of the individual company and webapplications of all kinds. Special attention was paid by them to customer service and constant support of their customers. The success story of SN-Media did not stop; the number of customers was constantly increasing. Despite of the continuing prospering businesses two of the three developers decided to go their own ways and left SN-Media

SN-Media today:
At the moment SN-Media consists of one full time employee and COO, three temporary helps (Informatics students) and a constantly growing number of free lancers, who are doing work depending on the nature of the current project. In addition SN-Media runs an online webshop, in which self-developments of SN-Media are sold as well as software from other providers. At this SN-Media tries to offer first and foremost software for alternative operation systems, such as BeOS/Zeta, but also more current platforms such as Linux and Windows will be served. SN-Media understands itself as service provider and supervises as well the IT- systems of small and medium- seized companies in Limburg- Weilburg and Darmstadt. SN-Media tomorrow:
Already since the distribution of the RC1 of YellowTabs operating system Zeta, SN-Media did cast an eye on this middle class company situated in Mannheim, and already after the distribution of RC2 it became obvious for the than developer trio, that considerable potential lay within that. The decision to develop software for zeta was soon made. But SN-Media did not think that the major potential lay within the development of especially for companies adapted company solutions, it was more considered to be found within the area of the development of end user solutions. After YellowTabs announced at the beginning of April that there operating system would be lounged in May, Robert Stiehler decided, himself being a passionate BeOS and Zeta user, to start as soon as possible with the development of end user software. So it was decided to start with the development at the end of 2005, and with this secure a pioneer position in this niche. The online shop as well is planed to expand; for this it is planned to offer complete systems with Zeta.
